The Bobby Sands Division ended the year 2011 with its election of new officers for the upcoming year. Your officers for the year 2012 are: President Bill Fleming Vice President Jim Williams Recording Secretary Rodney Owens Financial Secretary Kevin Hall Treasurer Tom Robison Chrmn Stand Comm Felix Reynolds Marshall Sean Donnelly Sentinel Tim Carley

We also saw the end of an era, our Financial Secretary, Sean Donnelly, requested that he not be considered for reelection to that position. We all know the position of Financial Secretary is not only the most important position within the Division but also the most time demanding. Sean did an outstanding job for the past 8 years and rightly so deserves a rest, but as you can see from the above list of 2012 officers Sean is staying with us as the Division Marshall. Thanks for everything Sean.

We ended the year by joining with our brothers from the Michael Collins Division for the first joint AOH Christmas Party & Hibernian of the Year Dinner. Our Division Hibernian of the Year was Tim Carley. Congrats Tim, well deserved. The Michael Collins honoree was their new President for 2012, Steve Leonard. The event was a tremendous success, the food was great, the entertainment wonderful and a great time was had by all. I will be working with our District Director Barry Foltz, and with Brother Leonard to ensure that next years event which will be held at our home is even better. Barry and I both would like to see representatives from all the Divisions in District 3 participate for this event.

Once again as we begin the new year I would urge everyone to try and make a least one meeting per quarter. As I have said on numerous occasions before, any organization is only as good as its members.
